She's So Bright - Our Best Photos of Iceland
Jon’s sunrise shot of Reykjanestá is one of my favorites. Can you spot the tiny photographer on the cliff?

I’ve shared so many photographs from Iceland that I’m sure you don’t believe there’s any left to show. But I literally saved the best for last! Jon was kind enough to expertly edit each and every one of these photos individually, which I can’t say I have the patience for, considering the mounds of pictures I produce. Editing is a good 50% of the work of photography so I appreciate the extra effort he put into making each of these images really pop.

We’ve ordered a few prints out of this selection and are getting them custom framed by our local framer. There’s something so satisfying about taking beautiful photos from your trips and placing them on your wall at home. Every time I look at the one from Reykjanestá I will be reminded of that amazing sunrise where we climbed down the rocky cliffs, the delicious hot pastries we picked up at 5 a.m. to fill our bellies, and the fisherman’s coffee shop we headed to afterwards that was an unexpected delight. It was a wonderful day and I feel so lucky to have a beautiful photo as a reminder of it.

But there are so many more, so please take a browse through our best pictures below! And be sure to scroll over the small ones to see the captions!

Jon took this photo of the icebergs on the black sand beach of Jökulsárlón at sunset. I love the colors of the sunset and ocean against the black sand.

I took this shot of the glass inside the Reykjavík opera house, but Jon turned it, making a cool, infinite pattern.
