I picked up this fabulous coat on sale last week and I had to share (snag one before they’re sold out!). Amid buying heavy wools and balaclavas for our upcoming trip to Iceland, I couldn’t resist splurging on something that wasn’t for extreme weather conditions. All those granola colored wool socks got me thirsty for color, so while it wasn’t exactly on the shopping list, it was on sale.

The bright salmon is the perfect pop for spring, which seems to be coming quite early despite what the groundhog said.

If you’re looking for a great jacket in time for March, I highly recommend this one. It’s heavy enough for a cool day, but breezy when left untied and open. I occasionally worry about it getting dirty, especially when balancing drinks during a morning coffee run, but I love every minute of wearing it. And with all the compliments I’ve received over the past few days, so does everyone else.
